Sunshine Cruz denies reconciliation with Cesar Montano

26 Oct – Sunshine Cruz has dismissed ridiculous rumours that she is set to remarry ex-husband Cesar Montano and expecting a baby together.

On 24 October, the actress reposted a screenshot of several YouTube videos that covered the story, and wrote, "FAKE NEWS! I've been sent a few videos about this fake news spreading and I'm surprised that there are people greeting and congratulating me."

"Since there are those who seemed to believe this, and also as a sign of respect to Cesar's partner and new family, I want to say that there is no truth [to reports] that I am pregnant and will marry my ex-husband," she added.

Rumours of reconciliation between the two might have sparked following their recent reunion at daughter Sam's birthday back in August.

It is noted that not long after the party, Sunshine was found to have unfollow boyfriend Macky Mathay, and writing a post about "letting go". However, both Macky and Sunshine have never directly confirmed their breakup.

Cesar and Sunshine tied the knot in 2000 but the actress filed a petition to annul the marriage in 2014. The two have three daughters together.
