Cesar Montano, Sunshine Cruz annulment finalized
MANILA, Philippines — After almost four years of trial, a court finally granted the annulment papers of former celebrity couple Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz.
Sunshine’s manager, Arnold Vegafria, posted on his Instagram the good news for his talent.
“My dear Sunshine, Your prayers have finally been answered. I'm very happy to know that after years of waiting, your annulment has finally been granted. All the hardships and sacrifices have made you a stronger and better person,” Arnold wrote.
“May you continue to be an inspiration to your daughters, and may you finally write a new chapter in your personal life. Cheers to new beginnings!!!” he added.
The actress commented on the post, saying: “Finally Arnold! I was crying and screaming earlier. God is so good! I love you ALV! Thanks for everything. Haha I’m so emotional right now.”
On her Instagram account, Sunshine posted a quotation, saying: “Lord, thank you for giving me a new day, for the blessings that you have prepared, you do wonderful things. Thank you for all your love.”
“This day I will never forget. 9-18-18 Thank YOU!” she captioned.
Sunshine filed the annulment petition on May 2014.
Even though they have a 15-year age gap, Cesar and Sunshine were married for 13 years. They have three daughters: Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Franchesca.
